PETERSON CONTEMPORARY ART

Bend, Oregon's Foremost Contemporary Art Gallery

April brings with it unpredictable weather, sunshine surprises, and a new exhibit at PCA that will brighten any day. "Universal Language" features impressionist landscape artist, Portlander Anton Pavlenko and Virginia and Italy based expressive realist artist Maggie Siner.

Anton was born in the Ukraine and was encouraged, from a young age, to explore his natural artistic endeavors. Self-trained, Pavlenko adopts a more contemplative approach to painting that reflects how he sees the world around him, particularly when outdoors painting en plein air.

Maggie Siner may be a quiet voice in contemporary art, but her sense of fleeting moments and clarity of light portray a bold yet delicate voice. Maggie has lived all over the world and her international knowledge of subject matter and range reflects a broad, whimsical take that is relatable anywhere!

Please join us on First Friday, April 5, from 5-8pm to meet the artists, enjoy the art, revel in the connection and soak in the beauty of it all!
